National Congress of the Spanish Society of Neurosurgery (SENEC) 2017

From May 17 to 19, 2017, the XXI National Congress of the Spanish Society of Neurosurgery – SENEC – is held in Barcelona.

Participation in the Congress of Neurosurgery 2017

On Wednesday 17 we will participate in the Skull Base Endoscopic Neurosurgery session, one of our specialties. This type of surgery approaches endoscopic pathologies such as pituitary adenoma, craniopharyngioma or cranial base meningiomas, among others.

Thanks to advanced nasosinusal endoscopic surgery, various lesions can be successfully treated using endoscopic techniques. It is a minimally invasive technique that uses the natural corridor of the nostrils. Our team stands out as a reference unit in frontal sinus pathology and nasosinusal tumors.

The theme of the XXI SENEC Congress is «Preservation of neurological function. An inalienable paradigm. » It is a challenge for all neurosurgeons who try not only to remove injuries in eloquent areas, but to do so by preserving the patient’s function as something of equal importance.
